Which fuel line is it?
Which fuel line is it?
Hey fellers, I'm trying to get my 12'er runing today but I ran into a slight promblem. I dont know which line on the motor is the return and which one supplys fuel to it. Can anybody help with this little promblem? ??? ??? ???
Re:Which fuel line is it?
The line on the side next to the block, and to the front of the engine . Up on top is the return line. It is a steel line that runs between the pump and block and the rubber slids on it right behind the pump. It is the hard one to get your hands on. Also where it screws onto the pump it has a pressure valve in place of a banjo bolt.
The return is 5/16 and the supply is 3/8 line.

Hope this helps.

: Eddie : 8)

Re:Which fuel line is it?
On my 95, the return line is 5/16", supply 3/8 if I recall (been a while though). Return comes from front, top of injection pump at banjo bolt that houses overflow valve. Supply line at rear lower end of pump. All assuming you have a BTA 5.9 w/p7100 pump (oem Dodge). If not, and it's a VE pump, sorry, can't help there.

Five-nine in an F250 mated to a ZF? Wow, neat! How'd you manage the ZF transplant? :
