fuel leak. where to get new metal lines?
why would you replace metal lines with rubber line? just wondering how that works.... but i think its leaking from inside that steel braided line and if i understand correctly its a rubber line inside that
Factory lines are horrendously expensive. When I priced them 4 years ago the good guy price was almost 200 bucks each. Then you had to get the engine side hoses on top of that.
I just bent some 3/8" and 5/16" lines to roughly match, and used good diesel fuel line to do the ends.
30 bucks versus over 400......that's why.

I've abandoned the junk stock lines and replaced with hose from engine to tank on a couple dozen trucks, no problems.
If you buy high quality marine diesel hose it will easily last the life of the truck and will cost a quarter of what the dealer wants for their junk.
Hose 5/16" return and 3/8" feed.
