my friend has a 98 12v and he called me the other day and said it was leaking lots of fuel from the drivers side fire wall. what do you guys think it is, i was thinking the return line or one of the rubber hoses has deteriorated. he wants me to work on it tommaorrow just trying to get a few ideas of what to look for. oh yeah told him to make sure the water drain wasn't open

 

Might be something a simple as a loose banjo bolt on the filter. That happened to mine once. It could also be a cracked fuel filter housing too caused by ther overflow valve.

Pretty easy to find a fuel leak. It's where the fuel is coming out.

Just power wash off the area and fire it up. Should be easy to find.
