Fuel leak

I have a 94 ctd, that has a leak, fuel right about below the drivers door, in the frame rail, I really have'nt look to see if the line it self is leaking, assuming so. But can you just put a fuel hose, clamp set up to stop the leak.

You can just run diesel rated hose all the way from the engine to the tank and be done with the prone to failure stock fuel delivery system.
Abandon both the supply and return.
