i got a fuel leak just above and forward of the fuel filter. it looks like it s coming from a hard line that connects to a rubber fuel hose. its not spraying at idle but when i go for a ride and check it you can see its soaking everything around it. im new to the cummins crowd but it looks like its right by the pump. any suggestions?

What kind of filter do you have on your truck if it is a pulatior thin replace it . They are cracking at the top under the rubber square ring.

 

I dont know what kinda of filter it is. i seen the truck off craigslist went and looked at it. the price was $4,500 with 175,000 and is totally stock with the exception of a gear vendors overdrive. (i had a friend on the phone as i was looking at it. bought the truck and had to go underway and that was last monday, i've been gone since the 7 th. so im excited to get home and tear into it. when you mean replace it you mean just the filter or the housing? thanks for the picture infidel

Spin on filter had 2 and read about a lot more . Just purliator
