Is this the spin on filter or the drop in one? What year are we talking about?

If you can't find one I've heard of folks using a commonly available auto parts oil drain plug to block off the sensor hole.

Just ran into it on another website, Napa 3395 has the solid bottom.

Do you have a Case IH dealer close? The new Magnum use 2 nearly identical filters side by side except the primary filter has the water separator valve & sensor.

Sorry, shop is 15 miles away to go check the numbers on the filters in the bin.

Since we're on the topic of fuel filters... Is there any 2-micron fuel filter that'll fit the stock location on a 1996 12v? If not, what's the best filter I can get?

Yep, Napa 3395 works. I have one on my truck right now since it was the quickest thing that I could get to fix a leaking WIF sensor. I think it was something like $15 from napa which isn't too bad.

A bit off topic, but goes with the discussion.
Bill (Infidel) should have seen the neat accesory John Deere includes with every fuel filter cartridge. A funnel that screws onto the filter and blocks the inner (filtered fuel) side, but allows pre-filling the filter. Makes a fast engine re-start after changing filters in the field

Forgot to look at the Case-IH P/N on the filter, too
