Front Crank Seal for KDP ?
Hi,
Yes it is the gear cover seal and I think the dry install refers to not putting any oil or grease on the teflon inner part of the seal. I put the threadlocker on the outer dia. as per instructions. Hope that is right as it is done deal now.
1 hour dry time or so. Thanks cj360trider for the info.

i guess the sealer is kind of his "insurance policy" against a leak. usually unless i need to seal threads if im installing a metal bolt into iron or steel i ding the threads on the bolt just slightly so it acts like a lock bolt. thats what i did with my KDP tab bolt. but if its a steel bolt into aluminum definitely i use threadlocker
