are you sure the new seal was put on correctly? the kit i used came with a piece to put on the outside of the cover so that it was set at the right depth and it also came with a sleeve (sp?) that fits inside or the new crank so that the little flapper-do's on the seal are correct. they should both be pointing away from each other.... hope this makes sense.....

Was the crank scored or nicked at all? Any imperfections on the crank sealing surface will cause the seal to leak. Also, did you use the installation tool that came with the seal? Lastly, was the crank and seal perfectly dry and free of any lubricants or oil? The seal needs a bare, clean surface to seal to as it is made of Teflon and oil or lubricants will only impair its sealing ability.

If it is scored, you can get a Speedy Sleave and be right back in the game.

The seal and sleeve combo does not come with an installation tool for the seal, so don't throw away the one you have. The sleeve requires a special installation tool. I made one out of PVC that worked, but I'm not sure it would last thru a second install. Pic is of the sleeve I removed.

I Used Red Locktight On Mine And It Came With The Inner Seal Plastic Piece. But When U Put It On Does The Inner Teflon Seal Point In Towards The Engine Or Out Towards The Radiator? If That Makes Sense

IIRC, towards the engine.

the seal actually has two seals, there should be one towards the front and one towards the back of the seal. they should be pointing away from each other.
