They look the same but I've never tried swapping them.
Beware of how the blades may have gotten bent;
usually from someone blocking off the flow from the radiator with cardboard for more heat but leaving the top, bottom or edges uncovered.

I have never seen a bent blade due to using cardboard. We all use cardboard up here every year.

I think Bill meant by leaving it unsupported, they sucked the cardboard into the spinning fan.........

The cardboard should cover the entire radiator except with a 8" hole cut of of the center so that the fan thermostat clutch doesn't lock the fan on.

If the cardboard doesn't cover all the way out to the edge of the radiator every time a fan blade passes from a place where there is airflow to no airflow the fan blade flexes a little till it bends and eventually breaks off.
Seen it happen several times.
Only effects fans with metal blades, plastic ones don't seem to mind the flexing.

Hmm, glad you explained. I usually block most of the front, but never have all.

I will from now on with a 8" or so hole in the center.....

Hmmm, never seen or done that either. I do usually cut a hole in the middle though.
