Just had a new injector pump installed thursday and when i picked it up i noticed that it was ideling a little rough and there was a fair amound of white smoke comming from the exhaust. So i left without checking for codes like a dumbie and drive it home about 5 miles.

On the way home i got a dead peddle again a few times and got p-0216 again and p-1690.

So i went to the dump thismorning again and then to the shop that fixed it to find that they were closed on saturdays so home i go.

When i pulled out onto the main road i got on it to pull out in traffic and the RPM's started jumping around. Then the check engine light came on and the truck **** off and will not start back up.

I am getting fuel at the injuctors when i crank it but it will not fire.

the check engine light is on and i have the following codess 0216, 1690 and 1693

Anyone have any suggestions or ideas or know what it coult be????????

The 0216 sounds familiar (I've owned a 98.5 and a 01). If I remember right, it is the pump code. I don't know what the other two are. You could probably do a search and find them easy enough.
