death wobble?

death wobble?

Could bad ball joints cause the death wobble? Also I am replacing my ball joints right now because they are bad, but would I be able to drive a little bit on them or is that a fix now thing? Thanks guys

I had a a really bad wobble i thought it was my front end also . (Balljoints,hubs,sway bars,etc.) But i found out it was my rear u joint on my driveshaft. If it has any slack in it at all it will cause the truck to wobble and shake at about 40+mph. Also your counterweights might have broke off your drive shaft or your drive shaft might be bent. Just check around there you might find it?.?.

To answer you question. No, balljoint will not cause death wabble.
