I am rebuilding the power lok in a Dana 80. I got a clutch pack from Dana/Spicer. All the disc are flat, but the 2 end shims are curved.

My question is I what order do they go.
Currently have them starting with the tabbed plate closest to the gear, next I have 2 w/o tabs and from there they ago everyother one with ending with a tabbed plate. Same on the other end of the power lok.
At first we went everyother one ending up with one extra per each side.
Cross gears had play in them, added the others to take away the slope in the gears. I was told it should be less than .010 clearance.
