I have searched previous threads concerning the cruise control problems and have not been able to get mine working.. It has not worked for several years.
I pulled the switch panel off of the steering wheel and cleaned the contacts, checked the fuse, but still cant get the light come on. I also checked the vaccum line going to the servo and it still holds pressure..
Do you think that the switch on the steering wheel could have gone bad.??. If I remember correctly, when it quit working it was an intermittent deal. sometimes it would work and sometimes it wouldnt, but I would have to mash pretty hard on the switch to get it to engage.

Did you check to see if the switch is actually competely making a crcuit with a ohm meter?
