clutch question

I bought a 97 5spd last week. I have to let the clutch pedal about 2/3rd out before it starts to engage, is this normal? The clutch seems to work and shift fine, no slipping and i've driven it 1500 miles in the last week. Is this normal or a sign that the clutch is worn or can the pedal be adjusted or?

Thanks in advance, Sean

Correct, there is no way of adjusting the pedal. Stock clutches have a high engagement point...it's totally normal.
