Clutch noise... What does this mean?
Wonder if somebody can give me some suggestions...
When I'm rolling down the highway, I can push the clutch pedal all the way to the floor and rev engine to about 2k RPM and I hear a tick tick tick tick sound. What does this indicate? Clutch works fine and doesn't slip, engages and disengages a little high. I just want to know what this noise means. Is my clutch dying?
Thanks,
-john

I would think it's your throwout bearing making the noise rather than the clutch.
Pretty much typical for the throwout to fail before the clutch on a stock truck.
