Most definitely! Once you get it mastered; want to market those skills out on my fleet?

Wouldn't that ride stiffer? The Only reason I like the coils is because they are a bit softer when on rough gravel roads- I can normally hit 40 where as my Powerstrok'n friends never seem to get above 25 without the thing vibrating off the road on wash boarded turns, my CTD soaks em up pretty darn well- close to Toyota well. Then again, Im close to 40 and still power sliding my Cummins around turns. 3rd with the converter locked is pretty sporty for such a heavy truck.

Choosing/building a leaf that will support the load and allow good flexibility/articulation without riding/bouncing off the bump stops. Most afftermarket leafs for powerstrokes are way too stiff, are incredibly thick with a large qty of leafs. I've had a few sets and would not consider running them with removing several leafs. Good shocks are important too.

Here's a shot of the leafs I will be running. They should provide good handling characteristics. I will be running slide shackles. I have swapped out the stock rear leafs for a set of chassis cab leafs, which are far superior to the regular springs. Will be doing.a shackle flip.

I had the thick 4-inch-lift leaf pack in my powerstroke. More like a 2" lift spring with 2" of spacers. Probably helps some with the shackle mounted at the correct end...
