Best Year for the 12V.

Still looking for a truck and was wondering what was the best year for the 12V 94-98.5?

98 12V is pretty much the best - good luck finding one as they are somewhat rare.

EDIT: 98 12V SB's are the rare find.....and yeah the 96, 97, and 98 CTD are the same.

96, 97, 98 12 valves are all the same.

The sticks are 215 Hp.
The autos are 180Hp.

In mid 98 they went to the 24 valve.
Hence the 98.5 year model.

The 98's have two drains on the exhaust side, makes things a little easier incase you want to add twin turbo's ;D

how ya doin BULL-THISL? I saw a pic of your truck with stacks on it, and I bet it sounds sweet. Sure wish I had a reason to come back up to Kentucky, cause I'd like to visit with you again. Hope all is well!
