if i keep my truck?? and the **** weather ever breaks ??? i want to bump the power a bit . I bought a #6 plate. I would really like the additional RPM of an AFC governor mod but was told by one guy that because I have an auto trans it will mess up the shift points. Any input here. thanx , DAVE

Hay Dave What your looking for is a gov.spring kit, the AFC spring kit is something different, If I were you I would put the AFC kit in when you put your plate in, get that all set up right so not to much smoke an running good, then put in a 3k gov kit, this is the one that will give you more RPM's an if you go with the 3k you don't have to change the valve springs. Some say to put it all in at the same time but I think you are better off putting in the gov. last [so you don't have to much to play at one time with if something isn't right].<br> This is exactly how I did my truck an beleave me it works great.
