Question Anybody near Cleveland, OH? & Can help me out?

I'm getting very frustrated trying to find a good "Cummins Guy" in NE Ohio to help me figure out why my truck is such a dog!
Any of you guys know somebody or can recommend a good place?
I gotta find somebody soon.......or else this truck's gotta go!

I would just say it's a D-O-G! I've only had it for 3 months and my diesel experience prior to this truck was all Powerstroke. And my 96 Powerstroke will run circles around this thing! I have a 3 place snowmobile trailer, weighs about 4000lbs loaded, and this truck struggles to maintain 60 mph on any kind of grade. If I have to get out of the throttle for some reason, forget it!...I lose all momentum and it takes forever to get back up to 60 - 65...

It just doesn't have any ooomph! And the mileage on the highway is 14 mpg tops! I changed the fuel filter, put on a 4" exhaust so far....
I'd really appreciate any advice or help you could lend...and be willing to bring it up to have you take a look at it and tell me what it needs! From what I read here, I should have some serious pulling power!

Thanks
Todd

sounds like a retimm of the engine and a plate would fix the problem. also check the lift pump and over flow valve just to see.

I think first it is important to figure out what is wrong with the truck before sliding the stock plate or adding an aftermarket plate.

A few suggestions I would have are to check you fuel pressure and check for boost leaks. The truck should pull 4k lbs at 60 MPH without too much effort. It could be your timing is a bit off but if you are that low on power I would look elsewhere first.

Best of luck.
