ok i know the kdp is important and i know it has to be fixed. but what i dont know is do i have to go through some of the steps to advance teh timing at all and also do the 24v have the same problem. thanks

 

to fix the kdp you have to remove the fan shroud, fan, overflow bottle, oil fill tube. washer bottle, serpentine belt and the timing gear cover. i have heard that some 24v's could have this problem, the only thing the same about doing the timing and kdp is removing the oil fill tube

 

dang i was hoping when i addvance the timing on my 12v it would already do some of the work

 

you could do the timing with the timing gear cover off, it would make it alot less confined work area having the fan and shroud out of the way
