Adjusting Idle 101

What is the best way to go about raising the idle. truck stalled out saturday when shifting into reverse. Eversince installed new trans truck has idled a little lower arond 650 in drive w/ ac on.

Best way to do so

go ahead and get a good 10mm wrench and you are going to have to reach under and around the injection pump. By feel, you will feel a little locknut and a screw. Loosen the locknut and then you turn the idle screw upwards to raise your idle, and the inverse to lower it, Better instructions can be found here...
