I have a 94 dodge and it will go into overdrive when first started and drove but after that it is stuck in overdrive from a dead stop and drove but it will still shift 1-2,2-3 fine just sluggish and no more overdrive shift

Start with changing your fluid and filter.

could be the temp sensor related- others with more knowledge can chime in, I just found out the hard way how much they can ruin your day. post up a youtube video, hard to tell without seeing it first hand
