some yahoo is selling an engine on craigslist and i can see its a p-pump engine but it has a cross over pipe. i tried to tell him all cummins trucks came with intercoolers after 91.5 but he said i was wrong

he said it came from texas. he also said he drives one that isnt intercooled.

your right they all became intercooled at 91.5. that mite be out of a piece of construction equipment. Case run those motors in their backhoes and dozers

 

lots of const. equipment uses them. Ive seen an 05 compactor with a ve pumped cummins in it with no intercooler. So my guess would be it came out of something industrial

Nope. He said it came out of a truck. He also claims his truck isn't intercooled. The guy is obviously nuts
