2inch Lift kit Help
I recently purchased a 2inch lift kit for my truck. i got it installed and the mechanic told me that i will need to get it aligned and will need new shocks due to the added lift.I have noticed that when i hit a speed bump or a pot hole it fills like my front suspension is bottoming out. Its a rough and bumpy ride any time i hit a pot hole and or speed bump. I installed new shocks front and rear to work with a 2 inch lift kit. The truck is still bottoming out up front. i thought they sent me the wrong shocks but according to fat bobs garage i have the right shocks. They wanted me to take pics of the front suspension so they can look at it and see if there is a problem with the bump stop. I have taken the pics and am waiting on them to get back to me.
I have not got the truck aligned yet because i wont to get the correct shocks put on first. Could the issue be that its not aligned or do i have a suspension problem.
Do yall have any idea what the problem is.
Did you lower your bumpstops when you put your spacers on? You don't want to use you shocks as your bumpstop. I did and with my heavy winch bumper in front I see that they stay pretty dust free indicating use. I didn't think an alignment was needed as thier is little change with a small lift on a solid axle truck.
