2inch leviling kit and shock question

I want to install the 2 inch leveling kit on my 03 Ram. I am currently running Billstein shocks. Do I need longer front shocks or will the ones I have now work? The shop i brought it to thinks that the shocks might be to short.....Just want to make sure before messing with it.....

Bilstein has two different shocks....one for OEM replacement and one for a LIFTED truck....If there yellow you have the OEM replacements and you'll need the SILVER ones...go to Bilstein homepage...Good Luck

Wow, I didn't know that Bilstein shocks were available for our trucks yet. There have been quite a few people on here that are interested. Do you know what the part #'s are for our applications? I have a '03 2500 4x4. Also I plan on going with the 2" leveling kit, so I am going to want the silver ones (5100) series.

Jackit sells either just the 2" spaces or a complete kit with shocks and they're the only place< i've found, so far that sells a complete kit...

For the 03, they have them, not the 04's yet

Yeah, i've seen Jackit's site, but i'm still a little leary because I haven't seen anyone with an 03 or 04 that has Bilsteins installed. Maybe I overlooked it, but there was no mentioning of 03+ truck applications on Bilstein's website.

RamDan03,
I have the two inch leveling kit installed on my 03 and at the time they told me I would need longer shocks. I didn't go with the longer shocks and since then have done quit alot of wheelin and haven't noticed any problems with topping out. I have just the stock Dodge shocks on the truck. I have put around 15000 miles on the truck since I did this.
