1998 no start no gauges
I'm doing a nv4500 swap and taking care of some other things in the process. First was getting rid of the alarm/security system that took up way to much space under the dash for the clutch setup. Majority of the spider web of wires on the thing was tied into the steering column harness. All but 3 wires were soldered onto the existing wires. I cut out the alarm wires and returned everything to stock. One wire that looks aftermarket coming from the stereo is blue with a black stripe I haven't figured out. Then the main large yellow wire was cut and each end tied into a different wire in the security harness. I spliced it back together like factory. I eliminated the shifter on the column, put a manual columns plastics on, and cut the cable controlling the PNRD12 orange slider bar. Auto trans is out and all connections hanging. Took the center wire (black and white) of the neutral safety sensor and grounded it. Now I've lost all gauges, gauge lights, engine start and stereo. I have some 12 volt keyed power because the a/c will kick on and I can hear the intake heater come on and off.
Any starting points? I've gone over all of it a dozen times. Been looking in the haynes manual and I'm lost. Wiring is my weakness. Thanks

fuel first, do you have it ? you need 12 volts to get it, make sure the solenoid is tripped in the proper position. minimum you need 10 to 15 psi, ck it at the banjo bolt going into the pump.
