12v Wont start

Went to start my truck today and it won't do anything.

Think it has to do with either a sensor in the tranny or the steering column.....?

I watched the tranny and it's moving between the gears fine when you shift the column shifter.
Just when its in park and you turn the key nothing happens.

Any ideas?

Will it turn over? If so, check the shutdown solenoid.

No it wont turn over.
When I turn the key nothing happens at all. The starter doesn't turn over or anything.
There is power though... radio and everything will come on just fine

Bad armature? Bad bushings? Bad connections? What got you running again?

lol actually it was something I should've checked before anything else.
I guess the FOB that plugs into the dash was rattled just loose enough to not make a proper connection :|
Felt dumb after realizing that !

You know how the new trucks have chips in the keys.... called FOBs. This truck has a FOB you plug into the base of the dash
