12V fuel lines

Anyone here replaced their fuel lines from back to front? There are metal lines along the frame Im assuming. Anyone know an aftermarket source for replacement or oversized lines?

forget about the metal lines and run a good rated diesel hose from the pump to the tank. I think its 3/8 to the pump and 5/16 on the return, don't quote me on that. Theydo sell a big line kit and I think vulcan makes it.

To my knowledge, Vulcan does not sell any line kits for 12V's:

I once did the calculations on how much fuel the stock 12 valve fuel lines can supply.
It was enough to supply around 400 mph at 5 mpgs.

I'm getting ready to replace mine. I bought enough diesel rated hose from West Marine, they had it in stock at our local store. Bought plastic wire loom to slip it inside of to prevent chaffing... crawled underneath and looked at the fittings on top of the tank and stopped. My metal fittings that elbow down into the tank module appear very corroded. I was afraid to pull the old lines off for fear of the breaking something. I assume I just pull off the old lines and attach the new ones over the inlet tubing with good clamps. Do I need to buy a new module that fits into the tank or are the pickup and return lines replaceable when I take the module out? Appreciate any guidance or advice anyone can offer who has done this before. Thanks.

Couple of ways to go. I've heard of people replacing the steel lines into the module but when I've looked at what's involved it seemed to be a big hassle.
Option I would take is is to buy a rebuilt module from the dealer, around $100

Bill,

Would you happen to have a p/n for a rebuilt module? The three dealers in my area have never heard of such an option... go figure. The only choice they offer is the whole module at > $300! Haven't had any luck at the junk yards either so far.

Thanks,

Will

Thanks guys. I'll keep a look out for one. Not a critical replacement yet anyway, just something I'm planning to take care of and gathering parts for.
