12v-24v differences

I found a truck on autotrader that i really like but its a 98 and it doesnt say if its a 12v or a 24v. Ive called but there is no one is answering. Im not familiar enough with the differences between the two too tell. I was just wondering if there is any obvious differences that can be recognized from the photos. Thanks

Strange that they aren't answering...you would think they would want to sell it if it's advertised.

Yep - there's not much differance at all. But unless it's advertised as such, 8 out 10 it's a 24 valve.

You can't always go by the badges on the side of the door. Some say 24 valve but it's still a 12v.

If there is a picture of the engine, the valve cover on a 24 valve is one piece if I'm not mistaken. I know the 12 valves have 6 valve covers with a sheetmetal cover the cover all of them just for cosmetics. Post some pictures if you can.
