The starter bolts are a 12 pt. bolt. Sorry forgot the size. Put blue loctite on the threads before screwing them back in, don't need to get them super tight (it's kinda hard anyway), but they will wiggle loose without loctite. Did on mine..

12 point 10 mm bolt heads. Had it out in less than 10 minutes and back in in another 15 minutes. That top bolt is a PITA....
AND NOW the fuel solenoid shut off has taken a dump. ARGH!!!!
It won't start but will run after manually pulling the solenoid up...when will this road trip end??

Has the fuel shut off solenoid come apart?? Maybe it needs a quick adjustment..I know mine didn't work properly. It was binding when trying to pull up..Adjusted and it was ok..

you mighta tweaked that blue inline fuse wire
I'd check that
here a link
Replacement BLUE WIRE (Fusible Link)
Part# FL90 Fusible link (blue wire), $13.85
This replacement fusible link is the protection for the power supply to your fuel shutoff solenoid. It's a 65 amp inline fuse that is connected to the driver's side battery at the positive terminal bolt. Sometimes the lug on the end or the wire itself gets corroded and will cause symptoms that are the same as a bad fuel shutoff solenoid. This link has the connectors installed and comes with a piece of heat shrink tubing to complete the repair right. Some 98's have a fuse in the fuse box instead of this type of protection.

I will look. Think I have the fuse in a box set up. Started fine yesterday morning, then went to start again 10 minutes later....no fuel.
