Welcome to DTR!

first of all, what year is your truck? please put it in the sig so that we can better assist you, second of all with no offense, caps are not nessesary all the time, some people take that as shouting on here.

And to answer your question, My injectors have 180K on them, and still flow very well, a friend of mine has a 380K mile truck with stock 215 injectors that still runs very well.... as long as ur fuel is clean and your pumps, filters, and so forth are in working order, and you are using your additives, my guess is that they will run forever...

Let us know if we can help you with anything else...

Rick

If you want them checked out , pull them out and have them pop tested. This will tell you if the spray pattern is right and if the pressure is right. A 300 psi drop in pressure is ok but anything below that should be replaced.

Strange thing is if you have that many miles on them you have allready had what is called "horsepower creep" on your injectors. They wear as they get older giving slightly more delivery as they age. Have them pop tested, as mentioned, and let them run. If you put new in you may lose just a bit of delivery because the new ones have not worn yet.

Something that I do for a easy check , but not persice , is use an infered temp. gun on each exhaust runner, the problum with using that opption is checking an off idle under load test , getting out under the hood and getting temp. before it changes a lot .
