06 crank no start

Like it says.. 06 quad cab. 190k miles.
Drove to work this morning no issues.
Went to drive home and the truck started and ran for 3 sec and died.
Tried it again 3 or 4 times with the same result.
Now it cranks but no starting. I have fuel in the filter bowl.
I loosened the front fuel line to the injector. Fuel runs out during crank. Should the fuel spray out.

Any suggestion?

Unplug the FCA on the high pressure fuel pump. This more or less disconnects the regulator and gives it full fuel pressure. Unplug the cooling fan under the radiator, if it shorts out the truck wont run. Keep us posted

I have a '95 Silverado with a 6.5 turbo. It has been dying immediately, reason unknown. Sometimes it starts right back up, but other times not. (No problem rolling over the engine.)
I pulled out the 10 amp "crank" fuse on the left side of the dash, then replaced it with a 25 amp, and it started, but the next day same problem. So I replace the fuse [with a new 10 amp], crank a lot, then it finally starts and runs.
Seems to be an intermittent short.
I'm afraid to take it anywhere because it could die in a place i cant pull over and leave it.
