Local Trans shop reccomendations
My trans is running hot, with the >100F days, lately. Freeway is not a problem, at ~170F. Sitting in traffic is...I can see temps climbing to 200 & 210! So, I stopped by a local trans shop a friend reccomended....
They suggested the Mag DD pan, 4 pints of Lubegard, and drilling out the check ball in the cooler line.
Anyone hear of the check ball? He says that is the main source of restriction....
It's still under warranty, so I'll have the dealer look it over first...although I'm not expecting much. The fluid still looks pink/red.
TIA
Tony

The guys at Truck Werks have hook ups with Suncoast and I think some others, give them a call and talk to Josh or Jason, 480-838-1166. They are over off Kyrene and Guadalupe. Let me know what you find out, mine is doing the same thing.
