started having problems at about 11k they changed the fluid at 12k, clutch and flywheel at about 22k, left it with them to tear down at 51k and the tranny was wore out. they replaced it with a rebuilt and after 2k miles on it its starting to act up again by hanging in reverse and shift bad. anyone else having poblems with the g56 like this

 

mine's grinding 4th 5th and 6th. hard to get into gears. and i've got 24000 miles on it. but it's been getting worse since about 18000. so i figure it'll crap out soon. i went through 3 of the piece of crap stock clutches before 13000 miles. i finally changed it to a DD.

 

I changed to a dual disc at about 10K, but haven't had any problems since, now at 40K. . Shifting seems fine and I drag race, sled pull and roll around every day on 40's beatin on it pretty hard. Knock on wood, I hope my luck continues. I am gonna change to amsoil real soon though.
