4 Wheel disc e-brake woes

So after a few months of chocking my tires I finally bit the bullet and replaced the entire e-brake system on my truck. The main issue was stretched cables. I had adjusted the star wheels out to where I was wearing off the surface of the brake shoes.

My first thought was the anti-sieze I had applied on the star wheel threads was causing them to slowly back off each time I applied the brake. This apparently wasn't the case. I realized that when correctly adjusted. Replacing all the cables (NAPA $78 for the whole set) and they are tight and it will hold on a steep incline again.

After messing with them over the past few years it's nice to have them back!

If anyone else is having this issue, it is probably the cables, the throw is pretty short to set them and I had about an inch and a half more on my old ones than the new ones....
