I have an '08 6.7 2500 and all I did to it was install a DPF back exhaust and
and a Banks cold air intake, I don't want it loud inside the cab especially on long trips with the camper but sometimes I wish it sounded like the old Diesels
well, last week I took it to the dealer for inspection and while in the waiting room I heard this cool sounding truck idleing around the back of the building and when I looked to see what it was I was surprised to see it was my truck ! when I think about it I never really heard my truck driving off
from outside the cab.

 

Hahahaha...

I like hearing my truck in action too, it's a lot different from outside the driver seat!

 

thats hilarious.....Ive had a few people ask my wife about the sound; after Ive dropped her at the front door of a store, then drove off.
I should have her drop me at the front door from now on ; )

 

do the dpf and egr delete add a smarty turn the timing up, you will actually hear the motor, not just the exhaust

 

and if you want it to sound like an f-16 spooling up wait till its cold, and hit the e-brake
