I am not sure about GoodYear Marathons. I know a lot of people on this site have complained about them. I suspect they are OEM for at least OK quality plus they stand behing their tires, especially for RV's. I have some Marathons, but that Fiver sits now, for the most part.
Let's hear what other Marathon users have to say about their experiences, as GoodYear is a major player with a good reputation.

Without a doubt the best tire out there is the Michelin XPS Rib. It was originally developed as a commercial trailer tire. You might try a 215/85R16E on that trailer. The smaller size with the slightly higher profile should fit. They cost a bit more but it is a relatively small expense compared to the inconvenience and damage a cheap tire will cause. FWIW. Casey

Marathons are crap. I've had them on a few different trailers. They're the most puncture prone trailer tire I've owned. You walk by and give them a dirty look and they'll go flat.

They might have been good tires at one time (when made in the U.S) ,but once they went overseas,they went south in a hurry.

Goodyear marthons are crap! less than 10000 miles two blow outs one seperation Will go for Michelin next. Oh and try to call Goodyear with a problem and see what you get>
