PDR's Master Power Turbo...

http://store.pdrdiesel.com/products/...s-952-149.html

any real world experiences yet? havent seen anyone mention this one yet...

66mm inducer
.72 A/R compressor housing
.70 A/R non-wastegated exhaust housing

hows the driveability? durability? spool up? high end control of EGTs? what different setups has it been used on?

its another option if you can find the right application, but this one has a nice price !!

It has no wastegate, a skinny little shaft and they often fail/explode.

The thrust bearings are weak and the oil seals leak often.

You get what you pay for.

For 550 bucks how could you go wrong??? It looks like it has a small shaft, is it an HX 40 with a 66 mm compressor wheel? A hybrid of sorts?

It looks like a GT4088 Garrett. I wouldn't mind know what kind of boost it would support and how it would do with an external wastegate plumbed before it...?

Does look pretty similar...for $550 it's almost worth it for the housings to put on mine. V-band on the compressor, and a 4" on the exhaust.

Might have to call and get some more specs

Chris,

In a twin set it might live but otherwise dont waste your time. I have played with MP turbos quite a bit and their junk. It cost a lot of time and $$ to find that out but someone had to do it.
