Post some pictures. It is the only way we can all be on the same page.

Did you use a cross member from a cummins truck...or from a gasser? If it's from a gasser then you will have to open up the holes for the motor mounts, and I believe lengthen them...to lower the motor.
If you need pic posted you can PM me for my e-mail. Or my E-mail might be in my profile...can't recall???

Here are the pics Wes sent me....take a look and see if you can help spot his problem.
Me I think the problem lies in the rubber mounts. The pass side is backwards...metal sticking off should be towards the front of the truck. And the drivers side is upside down...the metal pieces are in the right orientation.

The crossmember looks like it is where it is supposed to be.
The rubber pads do look awfully thick.

Please inspect and / or show pics of the cab mounts (to check if they're low/flat)
Also, when you had all of the crossmembers out, any chance the frame rails bent?
Those mounts look like standard Anchor brand mounts you can get at Oreilly's, which I've used many times with no issue.

Good suggestion on the cab mounts. But even if they were toast, I can't see them dropping the cab several inches?
I agree they do look like anchor mounts. Same ones I have used as well.

There is a dimple in the engine crossmember that a bump in the engine mount rests in to get the orientation correct, if I remember right.

I can't see anything wrong. at least nothing that sticks out at me.
we have one that doesn't have the sheet metal on it and comparing it to your pictures. they look the same.
