Transmission Line is Bad, NEED HELP!

Hey guys I need some help, A good buddy of mine has a 04 Dodge 2500 with the Diesel and an auto tranny. The transmission line on the front of the case of the tranny that runs up to the cooler on the side of the block is leaking bad!!!! Called dodge and they said that no dealer in the US has one and it is on nation wide back order with none being made right now, so who knows when they will have one. Does anyone have any idea where I might be able to pick one up? Aftermarket???

It is the rubber hose 5" section that is bad. I told him that we could put a new piece of hose in, but he would really like to just replace the whole line.

If it is the hot line just pick up one from DieselManor.com and plug the sensor hole. It sounds like it is the hot line.

I have the same problem as Ernst223! The only difference is that I have a 2003 model. My truck has been parked since Nov 1 waiting for the part. Can someone tell me where I might find one

Mr Jerry, I dont want this to sound like Im being a pain in the neck but the whole point of the forum is for people to search for answers to issues and if you have the answer you should share it with all of us. I dont have the problem ....yet, but Id probably go to a hydraulic hose shop for construction equipment and see if they can make you one. I have a Parker Store here in Phoenix, dont know if they are nationwide???

Make your own. Get some nice AN fittings with push-lock and use some high pressure hose. My complete trans system is like this. Got rid of all the metal lines.
