hopefully I can take the regulator out before Carlisle, I found a switch on LMC but I know I wouldn't be able to get it in time. Thanks for the help, I will update as I test out the theories!

Had a little down time at the truck show this weekend... Looks like it is the switch, now the problem is where do I get one?! Rock auto and LMC both list them in their catalog but do not have them.

Spring orientation
Not saying it is,
but if it is,
The pivot in the center of the spring broke loose on mine, I could lift the window manually and the motor lifted it with no problem, the spring tries to compensate for the weight of the window.
I pulled mine out and was able to MIG the pivot back to the gear and it has been working fine for years.
My sticky shows you how to drill the door so you can easily remove the motor.
Have you ever noticed that power windows always break in the down position when it starts to rain.

My spring popped out. How is it oriented?
Thanks

Check the screws that hold the regulator / motor to the door shell. I had that problem once and it was because the incorrect longer screw I'd mixed up would bind on the regulator as it went by on the way up.

Its the same switches in Dakotas and full size vans in case you are looking for one second hand.
