I'm looking for info on changing a Ram 3500 to a SRW. Has anybody done that & is the rear end "axle to axle" the same length as a single wheel. If they are the same, why couldn't a single be made out of a dually? What I am trying to accomplish as making a flat bed into a reg. 8' p/u bed without dual wheels. Does anybody know if there may be any hidden problems waiting for me? Thanks, Jeff

Blastfumy?? Ha!! ;D I thought it was kind of a neat idea since Dodge is doing the same thing this year. If the axles are the same as prior years, as I would think they are, wheels for '04 SRW's should fit and be right. What I don't know is if the drop center is the same as the dually's front or are they all the same?

I think you are probably right about the idea being illegal (in Kentucky) out here we have small garages and I'm afraid the flares would wind up looking like so many others that I see - busted and looking like **** - well pretty ugly. Jeff
