last night while sitting in a parking lot uptown, i watched some kids get into a dodge to leave. they went to the end of the block and turned around,it was obviously a stick, and he had shifted to 3rd at a low speed and then crack... when he stepped on the throttle the turbo snapped to action and it was very loud. it sounded cool but is not my thing. my son on the other hand said when i get this truck next year, thats what we will be doing to it...

mine comes to life at about 40mph in 4th gear...47psi and its a rocket from there to 117mph

 

i'd bet money he was going less than 15 when it hit

 

my turbo is a lil too big to spool down that low without a load on it. sounds just like the way my truck was with the old stocker turbo...it would spool SO FAST down low, a 15mph stomp was a rush. i miss that quick snap down low.

but the top end and cooling abilities of this big boy are also amazing, i can hang with 13 second cars from a roll on the top end. im thinking of downsizing in the turbo dept a bit so i can get some of that low end response back
