I've never heard anything bad about it. I'm saving up for a Scotty II right now.

Buy the Scotty. I just put mine together for cheap, but I would definatley get a scotty if I were spending much on one.

Scotty II. Dollar for dollar, you won't get a better EGT reduction..

The only bad thing about the scotty would be having to cut the fender well.

With the Scotty you dont have to cut the hole. But without the hole, you wont have the big EGT reduction. You can also cut the hole but run in hush mode with the insulation in place.

The bigger issue if you do cut the hole is the extra noise in the cab.

FWIW, there is no hole that has to be cut in the fender......only in the cowl vent above the PCM. I can't imagine running the Scotty without the hole. The turbo noise is not that intrusive and was actually quiter than the BHAF. The Scotty II is the only intake that I have had experience with that actually gives a noticable reduction in EGT.....that reason alone, is good enough for me. I have had a BHAF, AFE stage II and the Scotty II and I prefer the Scotty over the others for the EGT reduction.
