Which gooseneck hitch?

Hi all,
Just looking for recommendations on a GN hitch. I plan on installing it myself.
I would like one where the ball is removable when not in use.
Thanks.

B&W are great! I've had two in two different trucks. Fairly easy to install. I think they are rated right around 30K lbs. Ball shank slips right out once you release the lever, you can then flip it over (flush) or stow it in the truck.

Best I've found is B&W turnover

I have had others and I love the B&W I have currently. I installed it myself and it was very simple. The hardware was easier than I anticipated to slide into place and bolt up. It also comes with very good install instructions that are understandable and easy to follow.

I've got Cody Hitch: http://www.codyhitch.com/

I like it cause theres no locking rod in the wheel well that gets caked up with mud and a pain to do by yourself. And its a little more economical than the B&W.

Putnam makes something similar to the B&W. It's called the Lock N Load and it can also be converted to a 5th wheel hitch in a similar manner a the B&W. Price is right.

I love my B&W and I installed it in about an hour. I did however have a lift and did not have to lay on the ground.

Have heard great things about the b&w I wouldnt touch another reese that I have in my truck. Nothing but a headache to install. For a bolt on kit I still had to drill a couple extra holes on the frame and notch my inner fenders. Wouldnt recomend them to anyone. Go for the b&W

I love my B&W... and the install was the easiest one i've ever done. My hitch actually say for weeks cause I was dreading installing it. I had several "unpleasant" experiences with other brands on other trucks. About 1 1/2 hours, I was backing up to my trailer and going for a test drive.
Only thing that wasn't stated in the instructions was to get the spare tire out of the way. Took me all of 5 minutes to figure that out though...
You can't go wrong with the B&W.....
