anyone out there installed the tst plate, and if so did it adversely affect the emissions on the truck. dont want to drop $s and experience the headaches of the boise city air quality anus(s) is there a plural for anus? anyway i digress, let me know.

Yes it did. I put a #8 plate in mine and it smoked like a forestt fire until put in the afc spring kit.More fuel = more smoke.

You can tune the smoke out of most plates with a little elbow grease and time with setting up the AFC. There is a limit to how much smoke you can control with a stock turbocharger.
