Toyo MT 35x12.5x20, MPG and Noise?????
I have 33" Nitto Terra Grapplers and am stepping up to Toyo MTs. How is the noise at different speeds. Has anybody run Terra Grapplers and MT? How much noise difference is there between the two? Last question, will my MPG drop going from a 33 AT tire to a 35 MT tire, if so, how much?

My brother runs 35x20 Toyo MTs on his F-350. They're pretty quiet for a mud tire, but a little louder than my Toyo ATs. With a diesel engine make all kinds of racket it doesn't make much difference, though.
As far as mileage goes I bet you see a 1-2 mpg decrease in fuel economy.

Very quiet for a mud tire, not much louder than stock. My truck with the Toyos makes less freeway tire noise than my girlfriend's Saturn Vue.
After adding the lift (3" front 2" rear) and 35" Toyos, I dropped about 3mpg from stock height and tires.

I have Toyo's 325/70/17 (34.9") A/T. My mileage has not suffered from 285's. I got 20mpg on a tank driving highway from Norcal to Phoenix. I averaged 18mpg round trip same as my 285's. I don't drive stop and go traffic in the city. I guess you will lose 1-2mpg in city driving, but stay the same or a little better on freeway. Then again you want 20" wheels so the weight may affect you more than my stock wheels.

I have 37x20x13.5 toyo mt's and i used to have 33x 18" nitto terragraplers on my duramax and the noise difference is minamal i mean i'm
not going to lie and say that there is no noise at all, but seriously only at highway speeds do you even here it at all and then its not any louder than my dads 33" BFG all terrains.
When you have the radio on (even low) or mash the skinny pedal a little bit (even with stock exhaust) you cant hear it, as a matter of fact unless you have the windows down at highway speeds you don't even really notice it.
Over all I couldn't be more happy with the toyo's I will probably always buy them from now on the only thing is toyo knows that they're awsome so they charge you an arm and a leg for them.
As for the milage it has gone down from stock on the dodge
(obviously 37" vs 31" tires) but it is pretty close to what my chevy was getting with the 33" nittos on it.
As far as the tread wear i'm hopeing for the best with the right intervals of rotations but, I've only had them on for about 5000 miles and surly they can't be any worse than the 35,000 i got out of the nittos.
Last but not least unless your building a purely OFFROAD VEHICLE don't go with nitto mudgrapplers my brother has them and they look and perform awsome offroad but the are the loudest things Iv'e ever heard they sound like a small prop plane going down the road even as he accelerates it sounds like a plane taking off!!!
