I have the turbo wastgate turnbuckled and see 29psi. On level 5 I hit 1350 on the pyro pretty easily, I can pretty much keep it floored all day on level 4 and not hit 1300. Have yet to tow with it.

I was wondering on your auto does it tend to blow a lot of smoke on the high levels and is your tranny stock?? I have the same setup and was wondering if I will need to upgrade the stock tranny and if my fuel costs would go up cause i'll have power at the push of a button, thanks for any info.

I can hit 35psi pretty easily with my 5-speed. My egt's run around the 1150-1200 range on number 5. When I run it on number 6 and turn the backdown off, I can reach around the 1400 range if I run it real hard on the top end side.

My exhaust is stock so that may account for my higher EGTs.

So far the stock tranny is holding, havn't noticed it slip but the roads are crap here so its been difficult to really bag on it. I've only had it in for about two weeks. I do get a puff of smoke if I nail while in low boost(ie off the line or coasting) but it clears up pretty quick.

So far fuel costs are about the same but again its hard to tell since the truck spends a fair amount of time idling to warm up before heading out. Last tank was driven on economy mode(1) this tank has been mostly level 4 and the milage seems the same.

Thanks and i can under stand what u mean about the roads cause we have a cabin on Horwood Lake in Northern Ontario, somewhat close to Timmins and the last 15 or so miles are on abandoned logging roads. When i put mine in it will be hard not to set it high because there are a lot of ricers down here and are roads are pretty good.

I think if you plan to tow the Juice is a better than the Smarty as it allows you to change settings on the fly. As well it monitors TONS of different variables and will sound an alarm if it excceeds a preset limit. You can also setup the attitude to pull back the power if things get too hot. So you could be towing 10,000# and head up a steep incline and not worry about roasting things.

However I think the Smarty has more raw HP on tap. Not usefull for towing but fun for playing around and putting in dyno numbers.

Oh ya the juice comes with a built in Turbo cool down timer that can either pre set to shut off after X amount of minutes OR once a preset EGT is reached. I like that better than just a timer as often my truck is cool enough to just shut down. Its set at 400F and usually after pulling into a stall it only runs 10-15sec before shutting down. Its usually off before I get out of the truck.

Do you have the EGT probe before or after the turbo, did you install the boost elbow that came with the Juice? I really find it difficult to believe that you can pull that much on level 5 and not roast the engine. Unless the atitude is backing off to maintain 1200F......
