wap, how do you like that quad race box you have on your 6 speed manual ?? I am thinking about getting rid of my ts performance box and trying something else. I had been looking at the quad race box. Does it smoke much, and how does it perform ?? Really interested.

I love it, the only reason I will go to the hot juice is it is more powerful and is stackable. I highly, highly recomend the quad box, the smoke is very minimal and that is the only thing I dont like about. I have seen other people state on here to get the quad if you not going to be pulling or hard core raceing and I think that is pretty accurate. It is definately good enough for 95% of the people buying chips and boxes but I got a fellow that will trade me his hot juice for my quad and that is the only reason I am doing it, if you decide to buy it pm me I can give you a number were i got mine. I have had it about and month but when I got it, it was 440 for the race box. Good luck

Could you give us a little more info on your truck, as in tranny, and any other mods you got, I am kind of currious as to how well/not so well my fuel system is going to keep up with the hot juice, but I wont be able to get it installed for a week or two

On my 04.5 see sig. The HOT Juice on 180HP and EZ on level 1 would definitely drop LP to 0, didn't have a gauge before the EZ. I did not have the HOT Juice by itself for long, but the 180HP level on otherwise stock truck is a waste of time and asking for trouble. With air intake, exhuast, TC/VB/clutch you can run, probably drop LP to 0 and wont really have enough cool air to take advantage of the potential power. Just my .02.

I have been thinking of starting a new thread but I noticed you got a fass and seem to be pretty knowledgeable on this stuff so my question is, What is the differance in the FASS and running a holley blue pump? I do realize the filtering capabilities but other than that on a performance level basis only how do they compare? Also how would you recomend installing the holley pump I deffinately would like to keep the stock pump functional and were it is at.

deezulsmoke,

We stock them and can have them drop shipped too if we happen to be out, we don't stock more than 6 or so as they are a slow mover compared to the standard model. Either way we can help you with it and even have a DTR speical price program too!

I do not have any experience with other LP pump upgrades since this is the first Cummins diesel that I have delt with. When I decided to BOMB this truck over year ago, I have done a lot of reading and talking with performance shops, performance manufactures and such. I have also experimented with 6 different performances boxes and still have more to go. BD Crazy Larry in the back seat to try this weekend. I try to do as much apples to apples testing as possible. Dynos and 1/4 runs, etc. I have full gauges and SOTP meter that I use also. I would assume as long as adequate filtering is done any replacement / additional pump would do the job. Just need to keep consistent fuel to the injector pump at high demand situations. I went with the FASS because of the added filtering and water seperation, figured not only more fuel pressure but better overall fuel delivery. Wish I could afford a DRBIII tool to really test and tune all of the combinations, but VISA seems to be running low on money lately.
