I suspected drivers door switch was going out and unplugged to jump around it to confirm. Shorted something else. Replaced all switches in door and both windows work now but door locks will not work and panic alarm goes off every time you kill the engine and open the door with the key in the ignition. If you use remote fob solenoid still clicks in dash and dome light comes on or goes off as it should but door locks don't operate and the problem with the panic alarm persists. Local dodge dealership promised to try to find for $ 75.00 per hour with a guess of 2 to 3 hours maybe. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I already thought of not trying to bypass the switch again. Thanks for any help.

Did you check all your fuses? And did you check all the wiring going to the switches? Wires maybe chaffed and shorting to ground.

they are prone to chafe in the cunduit where the door gets opened and closed
